DESCRIPTION: With the American Journal of Transportation I re-designed and deployed the website's front-end appearance. In my position I maintained all aspects of the website with content provided by the production manager and sales staff. I maximized and created new earning opportunities.
My duties would include
  • Posting new press releases & special feature articles.
  • Posting display advertising and providing metrics of traffic on request.
  • Posting images to the website for event functions that appeared in print.
  • Use social media like facebook and twitter to bring more traffic to the site.
  • Using back-linking techniques to improve SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
  • Adding an e-commerce solution for users who wish to subscribe to the print publication and who wish to purchase PDF whitepapers of special articles.
  • ...and incorporating a newletter application called eNewsletter Pro to the company site and distributing to an online audience.
